Go mad for Monochrome this season. The black and white colour combination is a timeless and classic trend, so it's a chance to add pieces to your wardrobe that can be worn time and time again. If you like to keep things simple then Monochrome is the perfect style solution. It was a dominant look on the catwalk in Spring/ Summer 13 and is back again with a bang. What I love about this trend is the versatility, you can try different pattern combos as well as layering for a complete look. It's fuelling the minimalist look, keeping it simple and chic. But if this is leaving you wanting some colour in your look, then balance it out with some bright accessories. I've picked out a few of my favourite items all from the high-street and all under £20 each!

Clutch bag - Primark £10
Court shoes - Matalan £15
Longline Blazer - Primark £12
Shirt - Primark £10
Flippy Skirt - Matalan £16

Pastels is one of the most wearable trends this season. It featured all over the catwalks of Spring/ Summer 14, in an array of sugary sweet shades. What I love about this trend is how easy it is to make high-street pieces look like they've just stepped off the runway, whether to wear for work, out for lunch with friends or a night out. It will always look elegant and sleek. If you already have a go-to style, this trend can work with your wardrobe to add a pop of sherbet colour to complete the look. Kylie Jenner has her classic black and white look, but she's teamed it with a pale blue coat to add a different dimension without messing with her go-to style.

Longline Jacket - F&F £45
